The Wig Shop's Final Day Of Business at the Cancer Centre was Friday January 28, 2016
As of February 1st 2016, we will be offering all the same services, expertise, care and compassion for anyone who is living with hair loss, permanent or short-term, at Capilia Victoria located at 2553 Quadra St.
Despite the strong campaign of support from the community, financial donors, and medical staff to save Salon Revive, the BC Cancer Agency (BCCA) is still going forward with the eviction. The last day of in-store operations will be today, January 28th.
In the last 14 years, Salon Revive has helped thousands of cancer patients and their families deal with the trauma of their hair loss due to their cancer treatments. Both Sheila and I will continue to provide professional care and attention to all in need of hair loss prevention or solutions be it temporary or permanent.
My heartfelt thanks go out to the 3000+ citizens who signed the petition, and everyone who was willing to write their letters of support during this time. The personal and emotional letters that we received reinforced what my co-worker Sheila MacKay and I did; we are proud to have made a great impact and difference in many people's lives.
I would like to thank the media for highlighting this essential service for the community as a whole; everyone is affected by hair loss - whether it's your own or someone you love.
Thank you so much,
