If you choose to wear wig either part time or not at all, you may still want options. Hats, scarves, comfort caps and fringes are ideal. The sky is the limit! Be creative, have fun and think outside of the box. Check out your local thrift store, rummage through your mom’s, gramma's or sister's accessory drawer. Scarves, broaches, silk flower pins, belts and string belts can all look beautiful tied around a stylish cap.

Create a look of having hair by adding bangs, hair fringes or face framers. These will not only soften your look but will give you the illusion of hair. They are ideal for wearing under hats or scarves. For most of us, wearing both a hat and a full wig will be warm and uncomfortable. Most importantly, it will damage your wig in a short period of time. The fibers will become frizzy, and before you know it, your wig will look like a wig and that’s not what we want!

A basic cap/turban can be turned into a stylish, yet comfortable part of your attire. For most, these caps become an essential part of your wardrobe, even more so than your wig. Try layering a cap with a scarf and or hat…the result can very effective!
